Twitter is integrating a new feature that will soon allow users to download videos straight from the app.
The announcement was made by Twitter Senior Product Designer Andrea Conway in a tweet.

According to the image, features such as download, video playback speed, captions, and sharing videos will be accessible through a new task bar.
Users replied to Conway’s tweet by suggesting more video features for the app.
“We need resolution options, though. Otherwise, awesome work,” one user wrote. “Great feedback - thank you,” the senior designer responded.
While it is still unclear when these features will arrive, its reveal comes a week after the social media platform introduced two-hour video uploads for Twitter Blue subscribers.
Twitter’s Transition into ‘X,’ the Everything App
Over the past months, Twitter has been ramping up its features, branching out from being solely a text-based platform by integrating Spaces, Twitter Blue, and soon new video features.
These efforts line up with Twitter CEO Elon Musk’s plans to turn the social networking service into “X,” - what he calls the “everything app.”
