Twitter Blue just added a new feature that lets verified users post two-hour-long 1080p resolution videos on Twitter, whether they’re on the app or the desktop version.
Twitter CEO Elon Musk shared the announcement through a tweet, where he also stated that the social media app can take in videos that go up to 8GB in size.

Uploading longer videos will be the same as uploading regular videos., Twitter Blue users just have to head to their compose box and choose a file from their desktop to open.
According to the company’s Help Center, there is no limit to the number of two-hour- long videos users can upload, even if they’re all at maximum length.
The latest update comes after a series of changes Musk has brought to the app.
Around two weeks ago, the Twitter boss announced that the social media platform will be archiving inactive accounts in an effort to “free up abandoned handles.”
Early in May, he also announced a new pay-per-article feature that lets media publication charge users to read their articles, giving users more options if they don’t want to commit to subscriptions.
