Olipop Is Giving $40k and a Trip to a Pair of Besties

Prebiotic soda brand Olipop is on the hunt for "Senior Soda Consultants" to embark on a lively four-city tour as part of its "Real Love Makes Us" campaign this spring and summer.

The exciting opportunity, which caters to soda enthusiasts and social media aficionados alike, promises substantial perks.

The "Dream Gig" offers a total compensation of $40,000 ($10,000 for each city) for the selected real-life besties and an all-expense-paid tour, which covers airfare, accommodations, meals and a daily stipend.

Steven Vigilante, director of growth and partnerships at Olipop, expressed enthusiasm about the initiative to Travel + Leisure:

"This past year alone, we received over 90,000 job applications to work at Olipop. For a company with just over 100 employees, that is a tremendous outpouring of interest to work with us — so we wanted to take that opportunity and interest in the brand to turn it into something our community can engage with together."

How Can Besties Apply?

Applicants must showcase their content creation skills and submit their applications on drinkolipop.com by March 22.

The selection process requires a resume from each applicant, along with a video explaining why they are the ideal duo for the role.

Additionally, candidates are encouraged to demonstrate how they hype each other up on social media platforms like TikTok or Instagram, using the hashtag #OLIdreamjob and tagging @drinkolipop.

Successful applicants must be U.S. residents aged 18 or older with a passion for content creation and demonstrated experience on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Threads.

They must also be available to travel during the designated tour dates, starting from April 5 to 10 for the first stop.

Olipop's Head of Marketing Chad Wilson calls this Olipop's "largest [out-of-home campaign] to date." 

“We love tapping into our community and wanted to create an opportunity to connect best friends, as soda is intertwined with culture and ignites nostalgia for so many consumers. We felt this was a perfect opportunity to invite our loyal and beloved brand fans to join in on the fun — with two best friends getting a great side gig out of it.”
