Samsung’s yearly big event is just around the corner. As the year draws to an end, the launch season for the brand is coming close, and there’s no better way to kickstart the year 2023 than a new Galaxy series with the same namesake – the S23. With the barrage of Samsung Galaxy S23 series leaks coming our way, it’s hard to pin down some solid information showcasing the smartphone’s features.

Known for its sleek flagship Android phones and heavy-duty internal hardware, Samsung has been one of the key leaders in the industry in recent years, having launched the best phones Android has to offer in its arsenals, such as the Galaxy S22 and Z Flips that made quite a buzz.

Reports have confirmed that the new Galaxy series boasts its solid hardware, a 200MP camera with a massive optical zoom for S23 Ultra, packed with an octa-core SoC with the fastest core capped at 3.36GHz, another two-core cluster limited to 2.8GHz, and all others limited to 2GHz. With these details, Samsung goes all in, sporting a customized version of the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

Another detail to consider is that the Galaxy S23 Ultra looks almost similar to its predecessor. However, there are subtle changes, like the body-colored camera rings on the rear for three of its four cameras.

This is undoubtedly not the first time fans have seen what the Galaxy S23 phones will look like. A few CAD-based renders released in September this year show the subtle design changes the Galaxy S23 series is expected to undergo.

While the dummy phones are not functional, ready-for-sale handsets, the mock-ups of the Galaxy S23 should hopefully provide a better sense of the hardware’s aesthetics, showing off all the curves and bumps that have been the talk of the town for months now.

It can be hard to tell the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus apart unless compared directly against each other. They look identical in nearly every way – their size is the only external differentiating factor. But one thing’s for sure, with fans already making abuzz of its leaks, the Galaxy S23 series will be a hit.
