Gaming software giant Microsoft Xbox just unveiled the Xbox Series S Carbon Black – its latest console slated to launch worldwide on September 1.

XBox Series S will come with an impressive 1TB SSD to accommodate more games, and houses a sleek carbon black matte finish similar to the company’s more premium console line, the Xbox Series X.

“One thing we heard from gamers is that they wanted the option to have more storage included with their consoles,” Xbox Senior Marketing Manager Bree Adams explained in a blog post

The new console will also come with features powered by Xbox Velocity Architecture, such as Quick Resume, faster load times, and up to 120FPS framerates.

Those interested may also get an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription so they can play upcoming games on the day of their release.

Several flagship Xbox games have also dropped trailers, exclusive gameplays, and teasers in line with the console’s announcement.

Video game publisher Bethesda Softworks just unveiled 45 minutes of exclusive gameplay for Starfield, its upcoming space action roleplay game. Starfield drops on September 6, less than a week after the initial launch of the Xbox Series S with 1TB.

Pre-orders for the Xbox Series S with 1TB will start today for $349.99 at the Xbox and Microsoft online store.
