WhatsApp's beta version is introducing a new Group Suggestions feature to Android which will be available in future updates of the app.

According to a report from WABetaInfo, the feature will give users the ability to suggest their groups to community admins.

Once a group is suggested, community admins can choose to add it to the community, providing members with a convenient way to explore and join groups they may be interested in.

Groups along with their members will be automatically added to the community once approved. Meanwhile, new community members will still have control over the community groups they want to join.

Group Suggestions was first spotted as part of the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.14.14 update, which is available through the Google Play Store.

It’s one of the many new features WhatsApp is planning to integrate to improve user experience.

In previous beta versions, the messaging platform introduced community settings to Android, including a redesigned keyboard interface and “Community Settings,” which lets admins decide who can add groups to the community.

WhatsApp is also testing a beta feature for iOS that allows users to send high-quality videos to other users.

Recent features that have made it out of beta include Silence Unknown Callers, which helps users screen spam, scams, and calls from unknown users, and a new Privacy Checkup feature that walks users through their privacy settings.
