Tesco is gearing up for the Christmas season by premiering its festive advert during the I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here debut on ITV on November 19.
The advertisement features a family gradually embracing the holiday spirit, with some members initially resistant to the festive atmosphere.
Reflecting a growing trend, Tesco highlights that shoppers are opting for fewer and smaller Christmas shopping trips in the lead-up to the main event, emphasizing how each visit contributes to the overall excitement.
To enhance the festive experience, Tesco is organizing real-life in-store celebrations, such as Santa's grottos and Christmas markets at over a hundred Tesco stores.
Additionally, shoppers can enjoy samples of mince pies, party food, and desserts in the stores.
The advert is set to the tune of the TikTok viral hit "How Bizarre" by OMC.
Tesco has also collaborated with Spotify to provide listeners with 30 minutes of ad-free music sessions. Furthermore, the supermarket has partnered with Cineworld Cinemas to host exclusive "Tesco Christmas Movie Nights" in November and December, available by invitation only.
"We aim for our seasonal campaigns to resonate with our customers' sentiments, acknowledging the heightened anticipation for festivities this year. According to our Christmas Report, nearly a quarter of the nation was already looking forward to celebrating Christmas more than usual as early as September," concluded Emma Botton, Tesco's Group Customer Director.
