Following Snoop Dogg’s partnership with fast-food chain Jack in The Box, the legendary rapper has now teamed up with Petco, the retail brand specializing in pet supplies.
Created by advertising agency Droga5, the campaign promoting the partnership consists of several shorter spots, to be shown on television and social media channels until the end of 2023.
In a comical play on words, the main 30-second spot is titled “Petco Presents: The Ultimate Dog,” andshows the rapper discussing all the benefits of shopping at Petco as he walks through an elegant house with large, glass windows. The last scene features an appearance from, what viewers can only assume, is Snoop’s dog.
“When it comes to shopping for my pets, I choose stuff for them I’d choose for myself. My pets got to look good, feel good, smell good,” said the rapper, when promoting the collaboration with Petco.
In an attempt to leverage the rapper’s fame to push Petco’s marketing strategy forward, the retailer has also released a “Petco Picks” list of pet products, curated and recommended by Snoop Dogg himself.

Among the chosen products is Snoop’s exclusive line of pet products, sold under the label “Snoop Doggie Doggs,” sure to be a fan favorite.
This is one of many collaborations between Snoop Dogg and various brands this year, with the rapper scheduled to release his own brand of cereal named “Snoop Cereal”in partnership with Post Consumer Brands, this summer.
