Samsung has unveiled its new range of Galaxy Book 3 laptops, featuring the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and the new Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.
While Samsung is known primarily for its Galaxy phone line, its laptop series is becoming increasingly impressive, featuring slim, versatile, and attractive designs alongside powerful processors and durable hardware.
The debut of the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra has revealed even higher specs, as the laptop is equipped with the highest-end Intel and Nvidia chipsets, making the Ultra a powerhouse for both serious productivity and immersive gaming.
The Galaxy Book 3 Pro is available in both 14-inch and 16-inch size variations, while the Galaxy Book 3 360 is available only in the 16-inch size. Both models are available in Graphite and Beige colors, while the 16-inch Galaxy Book 3 Ultra is only available in Graphite.
These premium features come at a cost, however, ranging from a starting price of $1,450 for the Pro to $2,400 for the Ultra.
In early hands-on testing, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, in particular, was noted for its slim frame, lightweight design, and 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a vivid 2880 x 1800 display. The laptop also features a diverse port selection, including USB-A and USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, an HDMI port, and a microSD card slot.
The laptop is compatible with the Galaxy Tab S8, allowing users to control multiple devices and use the tablet as an additional monitor through Multi Control and Second Screen features.
The reviewer consensus is that these newest trio of Samsung computers, while compelling with their sleek designs and powerhouse specs, are explicitly aimed at users who are already deep in the Samsung ecosystem. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro, in particular, was an excellent notebook for those who want a powerful laptop and a tablet all in one.
At the same time, the Galaxy Book Ultra garnered favorable reviews for its premium specs despite the near-$3,000 price tag.
All three Galaxy Book 3 models are available for preorder until February 17.
