Tech giant Samsung has launched "Samsung Game Portal," an online store serving gamers in more than 30 countries worldwide, starting with major markets in the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Brazil.

According to the company’s press release, the Game Portal is designed to “significantly increase the convenience of browsing and purchasing products such as smartphones, TVs, gaming monitors, and high-performance SSDs,” all curated to meet every gamer's needs.
In a study conducted by Accenture, approximately half of the gaming population comprises cross-platform gamers who engage with multiple devices, devoting an average of 16 hours each week to gaming activities.
Evelyn Kim, executive vice president of the D2C Center at Samsung Electronics, acknowledged the increasing significance of gaming in consumers' lifestyles, particularly among Millennials and Generation Z.
“We will implement various initiatives to provide customers with a superior gaming experience, from purchase to use, by providing an environment that makes it enjoyable and easy to purchase gaming-related products,” she added.

Game Portal will have an extensive collection of content, encompassing gaming product information, expert reviews from both domestic and international sources, attractive purchase benefits and offers, as well as useful insights and gaming-related news.
Among the notable products to be featured on the Game Portal are the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone, designed to optimize mobile gaming with its high-performance Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform and a robust 5000mAh battery, as written in the press release.

The portal will also offer the Neo QLED TV, enabling cloud gaming without the need for a separate console, thanks to the Samsung Gaming Hub.
Gaming enthusiasts can also look forward to the Odyssey OLED G9 monitor, boasting a 49-inch curved OLED screen with "DisplayHDR True Black 400, next-level AI upscaling technology, and a 240 Hz refresh rate with a 0.03 response time."
Additionally, the 990 PRO SSD offers impressive sequential read and write speeds of up to 7,450 and 6,900MB/s, respectively, ensuring faster loading times for PlayStation and DirectStorage PC games.
To celebrate the launch, Samsung will be offering discounts on gaming device bundles, along with a range of regional purchasing incentives centered around the recently launched Odyssey gaming monitor and Neo QLED 8K products.
