Rihanna is stepping down from her role as CEO of her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty, which was founded in 2018.
The global pop star’s role will shift from a day-to-day executive job to executive chair.
Rihanna addressed the shift in an official announcement to Vogue: “It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer.”

Her role will be filled by Hilary Super, formerly the chief executive of the home and beauty company Anthropologie Group
Super remarked on her new role at Savage X Fenty in an Instagram post, adding that she will also become a board member of the lingerie brand.
“The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring,” added Super.
Listed on the "Forty Over Forty" list in 2017, she is known for “revitalizing retail and breaking stereotypes,” perfectly fitting Rihanna’s branding strategy for Savage X Fenty.
Super officially took over the role of CEO yesterday, as Rihanna continues to focus on her beauty and cosmetics company Fenty Beauty and other endeavors.
