As the newly appointed creative agency for Dulux, Ogilvy UK is maintaining its advertising legacy with its first campaign titled “It’s a Feeling” for the architectural paint brand.
The playful and inspiring campaign puts Dulux’s luxury paint range titled “Dulux Heritage” in the spotlight.
Daringly simple, the series of advertisements play with the senses and emotions different colors evoke. According to the campaign, the “Country Sky” shade reminds consumers of “a coastal breeze funnelling down a floaty tunic,” while “Red Ochre” stirs “feelings of unrequited love in a grand hallway adorned with statues and their strategically placed fig leaves.”

“The campaign is stylish, fun, playful, aspirational inspiration that epitomizes the huge creative opportunity of the category,” stated Chris Wall, the head of creative at Ogilvy UK.
“The ‘It’s a Feeling’ campaign embraces both trade and consumer wants and needs and elevates the relationship with paint and passion for a great job to comedic heights,” added Karen Wilkinson, the marketing director of Dulux owner AkzoNobel.
“It’s a Feeling” will be presented in the UK through print, outdoor advertising, radio programs, and leverage social media marketing to take advantage of Pinterest and Instagram-inspired interior design trends.
