Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is set to launch “the world’s most immersive mega-coaster" in January 2023.
Called “Mission Ferrari,” the new attraction is expected to be an exhilarating, high-intensity and multisensory 5D rollercoaster experience. It will also be the world's first sideways coaster drop, enhanced by scenic show sets and “cutting-edge technology.”
Starting January 5, annual pass holders will be given exclusive access to enjoy the new ride.
“We are very excited to unveil Mission Ferrari to the world,” Deana Taylor, General Manager, told the press. “Fans are in for a truly memorable experience with a combination of immersive ride media and an exhilarating rollercoaster track that is unlike anything else in the region,” Taylor added.
Other highlights include the Zip Line, Roof Walk and Flying Aces—all attractions designed for visitors who are not faint-hearted. As for families looking for a softer and calmer experience, there’s a Family Zone with mini-versions of some of the most iconic rides in the park, among other family-oriented shows and attractions.
Meanwhile, another attraction, dubbed ‘Driving Experiences,’ gives “Tifosi” the experience of driving an actual Ferrari car while being accompanied by a trained instructor. On the other hand, they also have the option to enjoy the experience as passengers.
Formula Rossa: The Fastest Roller Coaster in the World
Home to the world's fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa, the indoor theme park opened its doors in 2010 and has been growing with new rides, attractions, simulators, and live shows ever since.
Ferrari is known as one of the most renowned sports cars worldwide because of its outstanding marketing strategies.
