The metaverse industry is growing, and 4Experience CEO Jolanta Kubatek believes it could be making its way into the mainstream.

In an exclusive interview with DesignRush, the CEO of the 3D solutions company chimes in to explain the key advantages of entering the metaverse, and how it can shake up the world of eCommerce and business.

“We believe the metaverse has the potential to become mainstream in the years to come... [Many] global giants like Nike, Coca-Cola and Hyundai are already using immersive worlds to create brand-new virtual experiences that truly engage their clientele,” she explains. “Brands that don't might have difficulty catching up in the future.”

For clients of 4Experience, including notable brands such as Ford and Lenovo, 3D visualizations and configurators are highly beneficial to customer experience, as they are “often even better than actual photos,” according to Kubatek.

“For example, in the real estate industry. Why make your clients look at images when you can give them a virtual tour of the place?” she added. Kubatek mentions that VR & AR training and onboarding solutions are highly in-demand from the 3D solutions company.

When asked which industries will benefit from the metaverse the most, the CEO believes the entertainment industry will take off, with virtual events, immersive games and VR movies, bound to leverage the metaverse’s potential.

However, she also believes that any industry can benefit from technology. “Virtual worlds are also being used extensively for marketing. They’re an excellent place for building brand awareness and a community, so virtually any business can benefit from them,” Kubatek explained.

Brainy Insights predicts that the metaverse will rise in the eCommerce market from $39.25 billion in 2021 to $993.86 billion by 2030, with consumers believing it will take around 15 years before fully entering the mainstream, according to a UK survey.

From real estate to marketing and beyond, the metaverse offers a unique opportunity for businesses to engage their clientele and build brand awareness. As we look to the future, the metaverse has the potential to play an important role in eCommerce and business, and those who embrace it may be well-positioned to thrive in the years ahead.

Considering partnerships with top AR/VR companies could become a strategic advantage for forward-thinking businesses eager to explore the next frontier of digital engagement.
