Meta has introduced its new heart tracking feature and Health Connect by Android on their virtual reality fitness device, "Meta Quest."
"One of the most-requested fitness features for Meta Quest has been heart rate tracking so that you can easily see tangible and real-time results," the company said in a post.

With these new features, users can now track their heart rate through a Bluetooth-enabled heart monitor as they go through their VR workout.
Pairing their monitor to their Meta Quest headset also gives them an accurate real-time reading of their heart rate based on the intensity of their movements.
This feature works best with the Garmin-HRM Dual and the Polar H10, but other heart rate monitors may still be paired with your Meta Quest headset.
Moreover, Android users can sync their workout stats through the Health Connect app.

Through this feature, they can now see how many calories they’ve burned, the distance they’ve covered and other VR workout statistics straight from the Android app. This integration feature is also available to Apple users by syncing Meta Quest with Apple Health or the Oculus Mobile App.

With the rollout of these new features, Meta Quest pushes boundaries by creating a seamless and hassle-free VR workout experience for its users.
