Swiss chocolate company Lindt just launched a new spot marking its official debut in the Super Bowl ad stage.
The 30-second "Life is a Ball" commercial starts with a woman in her living room holding a piece of Lindt Lindor. She drops the ball-shaped chocolate on floating lyrics of the 1957 Perry Como track “Round and Round" as it plays in the background.
Throughout the spot, viewers are introduced to people enjoying the chocolate in different scenarios that match the lyrics of the song: a woman at the park, a lady relaxing by her pool and a couple sitting on top of their car.
Viewers also get a quick sneak peek of how the chocolate is made before it finally makes its way back to the palm of the woman, who then takes a bite of the sweet dessert.
"Life is a ball with Lindt," the narrator says, as the commercial ends.
Directed by Michael Gracey, the director of "The Greatest Showman," Lindt's slice-of-life advert will run during the first quarter of the Big Game on February 11.
Lindt USA CEO Ana Dominquez shared how sports' biggest event aligns with the company's dedication to quality.
"The culmination of two teams’ incredible dedication, commitment to excellence and intense passion is perfectly aligned with how Lindor’s premium truffles are crafted — by bringing together the world’s highest quality ingredients that result in a moment of complete, indulgent bliss," she explained.
For this campaign, Lindt has also teamed up with Kylie Kelce, the wife of Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, to get her insights on how to enjoy Lindor truffles during the Super Bowl festivities.
"As a football super fan and pretty regular party host, I’m thrilled to be partnering with Lindt to share how their delicious Lindor truffles are the perfect indulgent addition to everyone’s gameday gathering," shared Kelce.
"I’ve been a chocolate lover my whole life, and enjoying a Lindor truffle brings me a moment of bliss during big games."
