INNOCEAN and Havas Extend Global Media Partnership

Published: December 14, 2022

Global marketing and communications company INNOCEAN has extended its global media partnership with Havas Media Group. Their global media mandate is to continue beyond 2022, signaling a successful partnership for years to come.

The long-standing partnership between INNOCEAN and Havas Media Group, on behalf of Hyundai Motor Group, is to continue into 2023. The two companies have a long history of mutually beneficial dealings across the globe.

The mandate involves the Hyundai Motor Group brands Hyundai, Kia and Genesis across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America. The partnership will be managed with the help of INNOCEAN’s international team in Seoul, European team in Frankfurt, Middle East team in Dubai and Asia Pacific teams in New Delhi and Jakarta.

The extension follows INNOCEAN’s internal review this year on behalf of stakeholders. However, the renewal of the partnership seems to suggest that Havas is a reliable partner who holds great potential for the future.

“We are satisfied to continue our partnership with Havas Media Group for the coming years,” said William Lee, Global CEO at INNOCEAN. “We made significant progress in the last few years to support our Hyundai Motor Group clients on digital transformation and excellence.”

It’s not the first time Havas Media Group and INNOCEAN have extended their collaboration beyond existing mandates. Back in 2019, Havas Media Group again won in INNOCEAN's structured competitive pitch process, making it the media agency of choice for Hyundai, Kia and Genesis.

INNOCEAN runs internal reviews far more frequently than it used to, but Havas Media Group keeps coming up as the winner.

“We are thrilled to extend our relationship with INNOCEAN following a thorough and rigorous review process,” said Peter Mears, Global CEO at Havas Media Group. “The Hyundai Motor Group brands are leaders in new mobility solutions, and we look forward to reinvigorated collaboration as we help them navigate today’s everchanging media ecosystem.”
