Hotels.com, the NBA's official travel partner, has rolled out a brand-new campaign showcasing the unique lives of NBA players who spend a significant chunk of their season on the road and living in hotel rooms.
"Hotel like a Pro," offers a glimpse into the lives of basketball superstars, Nikola Jokić, Peyton Watson, Jimmy Butler, and Jaime Jaquez Jr.
In the first spot "Pony," Jokić and Watson stroll in a hotel with a small pony.
"Are you sure this is cool," Butler asks Jokić, who reassures him the hotel is pet-friendly. The spot ends on a comedic note, inviting viewers to "hotel like a pro."
In another spot, coffee aficionado Butler, renowned for launching a $20-a-cup coffee shop during the 2020 NBA Restart in Orlando, guides Jaquez through the art of comparing coffee, drawing parallels with Hotels.com's app that allows travelers to compare hotels side by side easily.
"I love a good side-by-side comparison, especially on the Hotels.Com app," Butler shares.
Expedia Group’s Senior Vice President of Global Marketing, Michele Rousseau, underlined the campaign's roots in the understanding that NBA players. "Teaming up with last season’s NBA conference MVPs adds that winning touch, inspiring fans to find their perfect somewhere and make the most of their hotel stay," Rousseau shared.
This NBA season marks the fourth consecutive year for Hotels.com as the official travel partner of the NBA.
Filmed at the Roosevelt Hotel and Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, the campaign comprises 10, 15, and 30-second films set to air throughout the season in both the US and Canada.
