Heinz wants you to know that its world-famous ketchup doesn't only taste good, it also looks good — so much so that it doesn't need to be faked in food ads.
The condiment giant just launched its new campaign "Unfakeable," gathering together different food stylists to reveal their tricks of the trade in making any dish look their best.
In a one-minute spot, the stylists get candid with their industry secrets, admitting to coloring strawberries with nail polish, inserting a sponge inside a burger, faking grill marks on a sandwich, and using a glue and mozzarella mixture to create stretchier textures.
But the one thing that doesn't need any touch-ups? Heinz Ketchup.
All the stylists across the board agree that the condiment requires no manipulation due to its rich color and sheen, using it to style food as is.
The spot drives its point home by declaring that there are no faking ingredients, taste, texture, thickness, or quality — there's only Heinz Ketchup.

Made with creative agency Rethink, Heinz's latest efforts come in part of its global platform "Irrational Love," alluding to the love fans have for its condiments to the love it puts into all of its products.

Heinz communications manager Lizzy Goodman explains the idea behind the ambitious "Unfakeable" campaign, putting the brand's ketchup to the test by inviting real food stylists to a commercial shoot to reveal their tactics in making food look "camera ready."
"The stylists didn't know this was a commercial for Heinz, and yet unlike the other ingredients on set that were manipulated to achieve a certain look, Heinz ketchup remained untouched – used right out of the bottle," she adds.
The condiment brand's latest campaign will run via social posts on TikTok and Instagram.
