Fubo and Ryan Reynolds’ Production Company Team Up to Launch Maximum Effort Channel with First Original Show

American streaming service Fubo has teamed up with Ryan Reynolds’ video production company, Maximum Effort, to launch the Maximum Effort Channel alongside its first original show – Bedtime Stories with Ryan.  

The Hollywood star took to Instagram to share the announcement: “The idea for a show made to help everyone fall asleep was born the same day as my fourth child.”

According to Reynolds, the goal of the TV program is to help put people to sleep and creating it has been a dream of his for a while.  

“Story time is a nighttime staple in our home and is a daily reminder of the power of storytelling,” the Maximum Effort co-founder explained.  

Head of Fubo Studios Pamela Duckworth described the new show as a “magical mix of joy and relaxation.”  

“These may be legendary stories, but Ryan’s voice and personality amplify each one, turning them into classics for a new generation,” she shared in a press release. 

Directed by Vincent Peone and produced by both Maximum Effort and Fubo, the 15-episode series will be the first under the new channel, which also plans to showcase original and classic TV shows and movies “made for maximum comfort.”  

Maximum Effort Channel alongside Bedtime Stories with Ryan will be available on Fubo starting June 20, with additional details to be announced in the coming days.
