Picking up your loved ones from the airport can be a challenging task, especially during the holiday season. However, Toyota's latest advertisement captures why this gesture is always worth it.
In the one-minute commercial titled "Arrivals," families navigate through the holiday chaos — traffic jams, parking challenges, unfavorable weather and flight delays — as they make their way to the airport to welcome their loved ones back home for the holidays.
Despite the stressful seasonal rush, efforts quickly pay off as soon as families reunite, as seen in their smiles and warm embraces.
"Nothing says love like an Airport Pickup," the spot concludes.
Like most holiday spots, Toyota's "Arrivals" highlights the importance of togetherness and family, but goes the extra mile by showcasing the unspoken reality behind the holiday season and family reunions.
Created by advertising agency Conill and directed by acclaimed cinematographer Max Malkin, the spot caters to Hispanic families who work hard to be with their loved ones.
"Imagine braving freezing weather or dealing with crazy traffic on the 405 freeway to LAX — these are real stories from Toyota owners that inspired us. We aimed to uncover some beauty amidst the chaos, but with a lighthearted tone," shared Veronica Elizondo, Conill's Chief Creative Officer.
"Arrivals" had its first premiere during Telemundo's morning programming on November 30. The ad will also air on broadcast, targeted cable networks, cinema and various digital channels.
