New research conducted by DesignRush, a B2B marketplace, has shed light on the optimal hours to engage with New York-based B2B decision-makers.

The company based its study on its website's user activity between April 2022 to April 2023 and was conducted to figure out the best times to engage with B2B decision-makers based in the United States.

The study reveals that each city in the state of New York is most active during different times, but none peaked between 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.

For users in Spring Valley, website activity peaked at 8 a.m., indicating that decision-makers from that city would be most receptive to engagement during the early morning hours.

Similarly, user engagement at Rochester spiked at 8 a.m. and continued to rise until it peaked close to noon. Buffalo, on the other hand, had low activity during these hours but saw an increase in engagement between 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

When it comes to the cities of Albany and Syracuse, activity was at its highest in the late afternoon to early evening, particularly around 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

As for the bustling metropolis of New York City, peak engagement was observed between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Interestingly, New York City displayed higher-than-average user engagement at 1 a.m. compared to other states.

DesignRush’s research was conducted with a sample size of 340,000 users, which was then narrowed down to focus on active U.S. users.

“Considering the nature of our website and the services we offer to businesses and agencies, including lead generation, enhanced exposure, and increased authority, we have a strong indication that our user base primarily consists of B2B professionals and decision-makers,” it wrote.
