Global sandwich chain Subway is bringing its customers up in the air with its newest out-of-home (OOH) marketing campaign.

"Subway in the Sky" is a fresh new dining experience that allows sandwich lovers to fly across U.S. cities on a 180-foot-long footlong blimp - all while they enjoy Subway's world-famous sandwiches.

"The vessel embodies The Beast, one of the new Deli Hero subs introduced in July that boasts a half pound of its new freshly sliced meat," the company explained in a press release.

The blimp's gondola has also been transformed into a floating restaurant, where users can dine 1,000 feet above the ground.

Starting today, the blimp will stop in cities like Kansas, Atlanta, Orlando, and Miami and can accommodate six customers per "sandwich flight" and 40 per day.

Subway lovers interested in the dining experience can reserve a seat on their website.

Subway in the Sky is a capstone to the company's Eat Fresh Refresh campaign, a culmination of the brand's achievements since 2021, and a celebration of where it's headed.

Subway Gives Fans Chance to Watch Super Bowl

"Subway in the Sky" won't just take customers up in the air - it can also bring them to the Super Bowl.

The campaign will allow Super Bowl fans to watch one of the year's biggest sports events live in Las Vegas through an online game that they can access online or by scanning a QR code in a Subway branch.

The game allows them to spin a blimp-themed slot machine where they can win a trip to the Super Bowl and special discounts.
