The National Football League (NFL) season is here, and so are the hilarious ads.

To kickstart the season, the league dropped a new spot featuring some of its most prominent names, including Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Philadelphia Eagles' Jason Kelce, and actor Keegan-Michael Key, from the hit online comedy series "Key & Peele."

In "The Last Page," the players along with Key have a script table read and brainstorm different ways to spice up their mid-season celebrations.

"What if we replace the 'gritty' with the 'sexy Dixie,'" New York Giants' Dexter Lawrence suggests.

"I think for my next celebration, I ride a Bengal tiger," Cincinnati Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase humorously added.

As the players make their suggestions, Key tells everyone to skip to the last page of the script, to which he receives praise for writing.

"Just think of the memes," the actor added as the whole room claps, teasing the audience for what's to come in the 104th season.

NFL Chief Marketing Officer Tim Ellis explained that the goal was to make the campaign tongue-in-cheek, humorous, and clever, and is a response to claims that the NFL is scripted.

"We really wanted to have fun with this and not take ourselves too seriously. We hope fans get a kick out of the campaign and are sitting on the edge of their seats to see what spectacles unfold this season," he added.

Verizon Drops "myPlan with NFL Sunday Ticket"

In collaboration with the NFL, telecommunications giant Verizon dropped its own spot highlighting its streaming plans, so viewers can watch the season straight from home.

In the one-minute spot, a man hides in the bushes as he watches the NFL on his neighbor's TV.

Another man reveals himself from the bushes, to convince the man to get Verizon's myPlan, which gives them an NFL Sunday Ticket streamable on YouTube TV - free of charge.

As the two talk, the neighbors notice them, and they begin to back away slowly.  "MyPlan with NFL Sunday Ticket" was made together with creative agency Ogilvy.
