China Makes a Breakthrough in Lightweight Humanoid Robots

Chinese tech company EX Robots may have achieved a breakthrough in both creating the world's lightest humanoid robot and advancing silicone skin simulation technology.

In a recent video, EX Robots showcased their factory and R&D center located in China's Panjin High-Tech Zone, Liaoning Province.

Modern techniques like 3D scanning, digital design, and 3D printing serve as essential tools in the development of these humanoid creations.

They enable the robots' lifelike skin, flexible movements, and patented lightweight mechanical structure, positioning them as the "world's lightest in their category."

EX Robots' strides in silicone skin simulation technology have propelled China to the forefront of the global race for innovation in artificial intelligence and humanoid robots.  

What Is EX Robots?

Founded in 2009, EX Robots is a Chinese company that began humanoid robot research in 2016.

Five years later, the company unveiled the country's first robot museum, the EX Future Science and Technology Museum, located in Liaoning Province.

This facility houses the company’s R&D department and the bionic robots assembly line. 

EX Robots specializes in the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and service of intelligent bionic humanoid robots.
