EasyJet is highlighting where its low-cost flights can take you with an attention-grabbing advertisement titled “Get Out There,” featuring none other than some of the most well-known figures in art history.
Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Johannes Vermeer’s The Girl with the Pearl Earring, and Michelangelo’s David all make an appearance in the 30-second spot.
Created by agency VCCP and directed by Patrick Daughters, “Get Out There” sees the characters from famous works of art taking a break from their usual spots in museums and galleries for a trip to the airport and an exciting change of scenery.
“Who better than someone who’s been stuck in one place for 500 years to demonstrate the powerful benefits of travel? We’ve freed them and turned them into travel influencers,” said David Masterman, the deputy executive creative director at VCCP.
By playing on the cultural significance these historical figures have in various cities and collaborating with a top creative agency, EasyJet is drawing attention to the value of its low-cost flights for customers.
